Pendant Note Card Tote

23/06/2010

I think I told you that I was selected to be a guest artist on Jacque Pedersen‘s monthly challenge. She chooses 4 people to participate over a 6-month period, and sends them different products to (hopefully!) turn into something beautiful.

Well, this is the first month of my six, hence my first creation. I took the Pendant Note card, added an extra score line to make a tote, and backed the ‘hole’ left by the diecut with a piece of DSP from the Pink Flamingo collection. We were also given the piece of ribbon, so I used that to make the handles.

I made 3″ x 3″ notecards using Real Red card, and used a stamp from ‘Baroque Motifs’ to stamp the front. And I made envelopes from matching DSP using the great instructions by Monica Weaver.

A cute, easy gift to give a teacher or friend.
