River Rock Birthday (NZSU Challenge)
15/01/2012
This week, the NZSU blog facilitator, Paula Reid, threw down a colour challenge, using River Rock, Tangerine Tango and Not Quite Navy (or you could choose River Rock, Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist). I went for the former, and to my delight, noted that the Paisley Petals DSP consisted of my chosen colours! Here’s the card I made:
And here’s the inside:
Thank you, Paula, I really enjoyed that! I can’t say that River Rock is a colour I go to regularly, so it was good to be challenged to use it.

Great card Bron – perfect with this DSP. I think we’ve all found River Rock was not a first choice colour. Thanks for playing along.
Beautiful Card Bron.
Perfect choice using this DSP Bron. Lovely card. Good on you for palying along with the challenge. I have to admit – it has had me scratching my head! Such a hard colour combo, which you have pulled off beautifully!
Another gorgeous piece of art Bron!
There are some really stunning combos using River Rock … but … like you … it is not a ‘go to’ colour for me! This is really nice, Bron! Hugs xx
Really like the colours and how you’ve used them.
You did a beautiful job with these colors and also showed how to use those large patterns in the DSP on a card! Gorgeous card!!
