Stampin’ Thursdays!

Last night I got together for a stamping session with ‘Crafty Kate’ (it’s becoming a regular fixture for a Thursday night!) and we practised some cards for my first workshop next Thursday. We made a gorgeous tag (next week’s make’n’take), using Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive inks, ribbon and cardstock, and the Pocket Silhouette stamps (such a versatile set!).

Then I made a card for my neighbor’s 87th birthday (using Pixie Pink and Chocolate Chip cardstock and inks, Chocolate Chip ribbon, and the cake stamp from Fun and Fast Notes, with the Fast Flowers wheel)  which I will modify for the workshop (perhaps more ink and less pink!), as I wasn’t totally sold on the finished product…….

And just before I had to go home to fall into bed, I got to try heat embossing for the second time in my life (and the second time in a week!) – and created this, using one of the Fun and Fast Notes stamps……

Cute, eh? Now I have to find somewhere to use it!
