Just Add Ink #11

We were blessed with two lots of free tickets in the weekend – one family pass to a play, ‘Red Riding Hood’, and one family pass to the Royal Easter Show, both here in Auckland. What great reasons for not going away for Easter!

So last night I sat down to make thank you cards for these gifts – the play tickets were from Nigel’s boss, and the Easter Show pass was from one of our fabulous neighbours. This was what I made:

This card uses a few things from the new Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue. The bird on the branch is the new Two Step punch (I love it!), and it is punched out in Soft Suede and mounted on a top note diecut in Rich Razzleberry, two of the new in-colours. The ribbon is the new Soft Suede polka dot ribbon, turned inside out. And the sentiment is from the ‘Trendy Trees’ stamp set, stamped in Versamark and embossed in gold.

I thought this was appropriate for both men and women, so made it twice. And it fits the bill for this week’s Just Add Ink challenge, too – to just make anything! Happy stamping!

Fabulous Bron. Can’t wait for my order to arrive (hopefully I can do the products justice like you have).

Hope you feel better soon Bron. Nigel made a good Stampin’ Up distributor in any case.

Haha – you’re right, Steph! I’ll keep him on.
