Happy Bird-day!

On Friday it was one of Ollie’s preschool teacher’s birthday, and he wanted to give her a card. Thank goodness Mummy is an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. (And has clever demonstrator friends! The inspiration for this one came from Heather Stewart).  So we whipped this up for her (he picked the colours):

The card base is a Fresh-Cut Note, which will still be available in the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalogue. (If you haven’t ordered your Catalogue yet, contact me – they are $10 if you pre-order, and $15 from 01 Sep. And of course, FREE if you host a workshop or class).

These cool note cards come with a pre-made envelope – all you have to do is decorate them! We chose to add a bird using the Two-Step bird punch, and used some paper from the Pink Flamingo paper pack. I added a button knotted with Linen Thread, some Real Red 1/4 ” grosgrain ribbon, and a sentiment from a yet-to-be-released stamp set (teaser! You’ll have to wait until 01 Sep!)

Quick and easy, but most appreciated by the teacher.

Such a pretty card. Ollie is very lucky to have a mum who is an Independent Stampin’ Up Demonstrator.
