Sketches and Springtime


I was so excited last night to have the opportunity to look at Mary Jo’s Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge – and even more excited to realise I could make something with it! Here’s the sketch:

And here’s my interpretation – a Christmas card!

I used Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Very Vanilla, and some co-ordinating paper from the Jolly Holiday pack. The stamps I used are from Contempo Christmas, which I am loving!

And one more picture to share – my little boys playing at the beach yesterday. This was taken just before all the clothes came off and they went swimming! So nice to see the sun after so much rain……

    You are silly, of course you could make something from the sketch, lol! And it is a fabulous card to boot! Thanks so much for playing along, the card is wonderful. Love the background paper! And as far as your photo at the end of the post, what looks like you guys must of had such a great day. I love beach pictures especially with little boys.
