Birthdays and Boats

16/01/2011

Today is a dear friend’s birthday (she’s also the boys’ godmother, so features highly in this household). I made her a card last night, using Elements of Style and Well Scripted, with Melon Mambo and Pink Pirouette cardstock. She loves flowers, so I knew this would suit the occasion.

And here’s a couple of shots to share from our family adventure yesterday. Our boys love transport (ferries, buses, trains), so a day trip is always a success when you have a couple of those. We caught the ferry to the city yesterday morning, and then a train to another part of town, and then reversed it all again. The boys found a giant chess set in the city, and had to have a play…. And then they went paddling after the ferry returned to our side of the harbour. (These pictures were taken before they got really wet…. :-))

Oh, and there’s a gratuitous Navy picture in there for you, too! Have a great Sunday – hope you get your fingers inky.
