Young Masculine Birthday Card

I sat down last night to make a birthday card for my eldest nephew. Earlier I’d been flicking through Stampin’ Up!s Idea Book and Catalogue, an awesome place to look for some inspiration…. and found a great idea on p 55, perfect for a sporty kid. So this is CASED from there:

Here’s a close-up:

I used Crystal Effects on all the balls, and on the numbers, to give them that glossy look. The ’11’ was cut using the Timeless Type Junior Alphabet dies in the Big Shot.  And the sports gear stamps from the Family Favourites stampset have been worth their weight in gold for boys’ cards! They’re all mounted on pieces of DSP from the Subtles pack. And that mini library clip just finishes it, I think.

Here’s the inside with the envelope:

Happy birthday, Jake! I hope you have a fabulous day.
