Sweet Swaps from Maryland, USA!

Ah, it’s a great day when you get a parcel in the letter box, right? An even better day when that parcel contains beautifully hand-stamped cards and chocolate! We did a swap during the last round of UStamp, and I was paired up with Maria Pane, from Baltimore, Maryland. I showed you here what I sent for her. Well, this is what I got back today:

Maria made a beautiful cone-shaped holder filled with covered Hershey’s nuggets (which we can’t buy readily in New Zealand, so they’re a real treat!). And she used my favourite a la carte stamp, Sail Away, to make a beautiful card with matching envelope. The pink card is the one she has written in, and she has used the Strength and Hope set to make it.

Aren’t I a lucky girl? A great start to the weekend, I must say. Thank you Maria – this was a lovely surprise.
