A Bit of a Buzz!

25/07/2011

Last month I did a workshop which a reporter and a photographer from the New Zealand Herald attended, along with a group of my regular stampers. We made a card and a coaster, and everyone seemed to have a really good time.

On Saturday the article was published, a piece on the revival that hand craft is experiencing, and our workshop was in it! In the paper copy, there was a photo of a couple of the ladies making their card – but here’s a link to the on-line version, which doesn’t have that picture.

If you’re interested in hosting a workshop of your own, coming along to a class or becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator yourself, give me a call or drop me a line. There’s a whole lot of fun waiting for you!

How cool to be published in a newspaper Bron! Sounds like you did a wonderful job, but then you always do ♥ Love your coasters!

Wow! You obviously did a wonderful job, as the reporter could accurately describe what you made and how. Congratulations on being in print! The coasters look fab, may need to rethink about having this die now!

Ok. I might be a bit slow but only just got to read the article. Wow. Great stuff Bron. Good on you for helping lift the SU profile too:)
BTW, what cork did you use for your coaster? It looks thicker than the $2 shop stuff.

Thanks for your comment on my blog! Yours is very nice as well! I love the coasters. Sadly enough, in Europe we don’t have the cork yet.

I think the reporter did a good job too – a succinct summary of a busy evening.
