Quick and Easy Engagement Card

25/02/2012

Friends of ours have just got engaged (the party is tonight!), and I wanted to make them something special, without taking all afternoon. Fortunately, I got the latest copy of Impressions this morning (the Stampin’ Up! demonstrator publication), and one of the cards in it inspired me to make this…

The stampset I used here is Marry Me, from the Summer mini catalogue. The colours are Baja Breeze, So Saffron and Basic Grey on Very Vanilla, with a Crumb Cake card base. I love the Baja Breeze seam binding ribbon – so easy to manipulate, and stays in place beautifully on a piece of Sticky Strip. A couple of little adhesive pearls, and it was done.

This is lovely Bron – simple but elegant. Great that you’re still managing to find time to create even though you’re back working full time. You must be the master at time management! Fabulous article about you in the latest Impressions too x
