We had a WHALE of a Time!

20/02/2010

As I promised yesterday, here is the project I have been working on all week. For some reason, it just wasn’t coming together as I wanted it to…… then on Thursday, I got it (just in time for the Just Add Ink challenge on Friday – Just Add Dimension!)

I was particularly anxious that this card work, as I was asked to teach it at our team’s demonstrator training this morning. When Jacque asked me a few weeks ago to show something using the Sweet Treat Cups, I was blown away (I’ve only been stamping for 6 months! In fact, today is my 6-month anniversary with Stampin’ Up! :-)) – but I wanted to prove to myself that I was up to it!

And here it is lying down:

This card used the Sweet Treats Cup, the 1 3/4″ circle punch, the Circle Scissors Plus, Tall Tales DSP and corresponding Animal Stories stamp set, and the Brilliant Blue, So Saffron and Whisper White cardstock. Oh yes – and water!

If you’d like a copy of the typed instruction sheet I did for this class, please email me (see ‘Contact Me’ above for details), and I’ll send it to you.

When I first saw this I thought you surely hadn’t used a liquid on a card (brave step). But the sweet treats cup is obviously up to it. It looks fantastic.

Oh my gosh, what a great idea. But how does it hold water?
Yes, I would love instructions. Thanks

Gorgeous! How do you stop the card from getting soggy at the back? Or do you use white gloss card, so it’s more ‘water proof’? TFS 🙂
