Just Add…… Birthdays!
I love it when I have a reason to make a card, and there are a couple of challenges to ‘guide’ me at the time. The challenge today was thrown down by the team at Just Add Ink, with this sketch:
And I can also enter a challenge from Stampin’ Up! Late Night Stampers, which was to make a birthday card and post it up.
So, here it is – a girly birthday card for a friend of ours (in Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose and Pumpkin Pie, on a Chocolate Chip base), who is celebrating her birthday next week:
And of course, the elegant envelope in co-ordinating designer series paper (here, it is Sweet Always):
We’ve got team training tomorrow, and I’m so excited to be taking my swap. It is from a stampset that will be available here in New Zealand from 01 April (along with a whole lot of gorgeous things that I just have to have the lot of!). I’m looking forward to seeing what my team-mates think of my design, because it is so different to what I would have chosen to create when I started as a demo seven months ago (7 months today! YAY!). But I’ll show you that card either tomorrow night or Monday, and you can make that decision yourself.
OK, I’m off! Happy stamping!
love the card – my swaps are done for tomorrow but I’ve gone for KISS this time – everything in the new mini seems to make my life easier – it’s fantastic
This is a beautiful card Bron!! I love the rinestones.
I have been struggling to come up with birthday cards, but this is just what I am after!! Mind if I case it? You have done a fab job, as usual!!
Lovely card Bron, finished off perfectly with the co-ordinating envelope.
Beautiful card and the co-ordinating envelope is the perfect finishing touch 🙂
