Just Add Ink #44

20/11/2010

Yahoo! I had the opportunity this morning to make a card for my neighbours – they wanted a birthday card for their soon-to-be-90-year-old friend in England (he was in the Air Force in WWII with my neighbour).

And when I saw the colours in this week’s Just Add Ink challenge, I was so pleased! I got to make this masculine card, for a reason (I craft so much better with ‘purpose’) – and use a stamp set that I seldom use, as well!

Here are the colours:

And here is my interpretation:

Here’s a close-up on the inside:

And here’s the envelope:

My neighbours were so pleased with it. Go and check out the other beautiful creations at Just Add Ink (http://just-add-ink.blogspot.com/).

This is really lovely, Bron, and the colours are perfect with that stamp set. Great challenge entry, and great masculine card.

Absolutely perfect, Bron! 😀 I am hoping to play along … but with leaving for Melbourne early Tues morning … I’m not sure that much stamping will be happening in the next few days! Hugs xxaxx

This is just stunning, Bron! Wow… I love the colours, and the beautiful touch of stamping the card. So often I am in a hurry and miss that out.

This week’s colours sure did help in making this a great masculine card. Can’t wait to play with my Lattice Embossing Folder. Thanks for playing at JAI.
