Wonderful Couple
Having enjoyed the hospitality of my sister and brother-in-law over the weekend, it was time to sit and make them a card to say thank you. Rach is quite a ‘retro’ chick, and loves greens and browns and oranges.
Fortunately, this week’s challenge from Just Add Ink was to use Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip, along with Barely Banana.
And to get me moving, I tied it in with the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge:
And the result was this:
I used chocolate chip ink, and the scallop edge punch, and one of my new tag dies in the Big Shot, for underneath ‘couple’ (which is popped up on dimensionals, for a bit of 3D action). The flowers were made using the Trio Flower punch, and silver brads, adhered with a mini glue dot each. The sentiment is from the ‘Wonderful Favourites’ stamp set, and the little flourish at the bottom is from the new ‘Tiny Tags’ set (in the Autumn/Winter mini catalogue).
Very pretty, Bron! I really like that flourish peeking out at the bottom! Thanks for playing! 🙂
Love it. Great idea. Fun colors too, I am sure they will love it. Thanks so much for playing along with the sketch this week!

Gorgeous card, Bron! You’ve worked those colors beautifully. Thanks for playing!
Not only a lovely card but you killed several birds with one stone.
